Breakfast Time

We decided to try giving Leah some cereal a few days ago. It is hard to believe that she is going to be 5 months old tomorrow. She has been pretty interested in our food lately and she has doubled her birth weight so we thought she might be ready. She also refuses to take a bottle so I thought it might be nice if she could take a little cereal to get her by if i needed to leave her for a few hours. She seemed to be interested in the cereal, and really liked the spoon, but she wasn't quite ready for it. She hasn't lost that reflex yet that pushes everything back out of her mouth, so all she did was spit it back out. We'll try again in a few more weeks and see how she does then. She is getting stronger now too. She sits really well on the couch and is getting close to sitting up on her own.
