We took a little trip down to Sedona to enjoy the warm weather and scenery, although the weather was actually pretty nice here too.
We hung out at home and the kids enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa read lots of books to them, putting together puzzles, and working on some art projects.
Leah's hair is finally getting long enough to do a few fun things with it. She even asks for bows now and leaves them in. Here was my first attempt at braiding her hair. It didn't turn out too bad.
We ventured on a little road trip to the Grand Canyon, unfortunately we picked the only crappy weather day to go there. We didn't get to see much of the Grand Canyon, about 15 seconds worth. It was cold and windy!
We decided to go have lunch and see if the weather might improve, but instead it started snowing. This is what the Grand Canyon looked like in a snowstorm.
Leah had lots of fun playing peekaboo with Grandpa. We dropped them off at the airport shuttle on Tuesday. On our way home, Leah asked me where Grandma and Grandpa went. I told her they had to go back home on an airplane and she said, "Can I go with them?" We were all sad to see them go, but enjoyed spending time with them while they were here.

Your visit to the Grand Canyon looks very cold! Maybe the next time they venture down it will be in the warm weather. Too bad you weren't able to see a whole lot. Looks like you were still able to have fun with them. I like Miles' new haircut and you did a great job with Leah's braids! Can't wait to see you next week.
